Identity and Philosophy

Saint Emily de Vialar

The Sisters of Saint Joseph, like all Catholic schools, believe that academic learning and skill development go hand in hand with nurturing ethical beliefs among its students. Our school provides students with skills, knowledge and understanding to live as well-rounded responsible individuals in the increasingly complex and ever-changing situation of our country. We believe that learning should take place in a safe, orderly and nurturing environment that ensures the dignity of the individual within their surroundings.

The school does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability in any of its student programs and activities.

The school is committed to providing a safe, positive, productive, and nurturing educational environment for all of its students. The school encourages the promotion of positive interpersonal relations between members of the school community. Bullying towards a student, whether by other students, staff, or third parties is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
