Welcome

Sister Femia Khoury’s Opening Message of the academic year

Sister Femia Khoury, School Principal

Welcome back to school hoping that this coming year will be filled with the inspiration of raising a significantly creative and productive new generation of young students; a generation that excels both academically and ethically in all walks of life.

In order to promote a positive school environment, we all need to create a genuine dialogue among everyone involved in the teaching-learning process. This year we will focus on strengthening the school standards through raising rigor both in the classroom and through online teaching in order to build on our social and academic intelligence through restorative practice rather than punitive to build a healthy individual under these exceptional circumstances that we are living through.

Communication is critical when building a home-school connection. Online programs enhance student learning through technology. Programs such as Edu-nation will be used instead of Nobel for both enrichment and intervention, and parents are expected to follow up on their daughters’ school work and progress. Parents’ support and encouragement are of utmost importance to build a healthy cooperation between our school and your home. I encourage the parents to play an active and positive role in their children’s education and have an encouraging and constructive role in their children’s education. We all know how much you want your children to be successful and thrive in their education.

We thank God first and foremost for inspiring us and giving us the strength to continue our mission. I can’t leave out the tremendous and strenuous work of our teachers and staff to achieve our goals and dreams.

We look forward to the school year with abundant faith, hope, excitement, confidence and high expectations for students and staff alike. We are looking forward to a successful year ahead!
